I denied... what I felt for a long time. I didn't want to have to face my own feelings for him on top of everything else. It became hard to ignore, though, and I'm just lucky he seemed to feel the same way. I'm lucky to have him, to work and fight at his side, to get to know him, and then to marry him. I may never have thought it possible, once, but I can't imagine my life another way, now.

Cullen is... an incredible person. He has faith. I may not believe in all the same things, but his courage and hope in the face of desperate situations is inspiring. He may not say the same of himself, but he can rally the troops and encourage just about anyone so that they can see their own worth. He came from a tremendously difficult background, but I've always considered him to be the strongest man I've ever known. I... admire him.

He puts everyone before himself. He forgives me and my pig-headedness, even when I don't deserve it. I can only hope I end up half the person that he is, some day.
