[ She doesn't even like to imagine what would have happened to Emily if he hadn't heard her scream. ] He saved Emily's life. It could have been... It could have been so bad. And he stepped in, not worried about his own safety.
I just... Emily is my friend, and she... she makes me happy. [ Not always, but Emily does her best. She is occasionally cruel, and thoughtless, but when she is good to you, she's the best person to have around. The other woman has done so much for Ashley's own happiness, and so... ] He protected a person that makes me happy, and now I want to return that favor, more than anything.
[Delight listens, and- well, it doesn't seem like a happy story, but there's some form of happiness in it, which is what she actually needs. Ashley thinks about Emily and thinks about how grateful she is for Glacius, and it's enough to meet the requirements- so in the end, Delight simply smiles and responds.]
