You weren't around for the party, were you? I gave everyone some drinks there that made them not need to eat or sleep or do anything else except for dance and sing and have a good time... well, the symbol on your leg kinda works the same way. You just have to will yourself awake or less hungry or physically exhausted and you'll perk right back up.
