I hear that the gods sometimes grant wishes to those who are willing to pay the price. There is something I'd like.
People would have me think that I should feel guilty for helping you, but I experienced a dream granted by you - with my brother, Lucifer - and I don't think you mean any harm. I'm grateful, truly.
Bees are insects. They're very much like your fireflies, however they live in a nest, a hive, thousands of them, all together. They're industrious little fellows, collecting nectar from the trees and flowers for their queen, which they turn into honey, and in turn they help the flowers to reproduce, and help trees to bear fruit.
They're yellow and black, and have stingers on their tails, however if they sting someone they die, so they only attack if threatened. Mmm...they have transparent wings, and when they fly they make a lovely bzzz sound. Bzz bzz. Oh--and they dance! Instead of talking, you see.
[ What else can he say about bees? ]
Honey is very sweet, and pleasant. People enjoy it. And really, people need bees. Without them there is no function, no balance.
I miss them very much. Of my father's Creation, they're one of my favorite things. I can spend hours watching them.
[ Don't be offended by the little pause he makes now. He's disappointed, and there's no other way to describe it. But he does understand. He knows how this kind of power works, and it's almost in some ways a relief to think that she isn't strong enough to give life to them. ]
I understand.
I have two of your fireflies. I've named them, but they seem to be tiring. Is there anything that you can do to prolong their lifespan, at least?
Their names are Sam and Dean, after my friends. I haven't always I haven't had friends, before. There were family, and some of them were friendly, but it was always about our purpose, our duty. Sam and Dean are the first friends I've known, by definition of my choosing them, and them choosing me. When I came here, scared and afraid, they took me in, forgave me, protected me.
I care for them very much, and your fireflies gave me the same feelings I have when I'm with them. Sam and Dean had collected them, and gave them to me. With them, as with their namesakes, I felt happy, and safe, so that even when I was alone I wasn't alone. So I named them after my friends, whom I love, who make me happy. It seemed like the right thing to do.
At night, when they sleep and I do not, I sit and watch them dance behind the glass. It's more than enough to satisfy me, although it is bittersweet; I wish I could let them have more room, without worrying about them leaving me. I like them very much, you see.

Do you know anything about bees?

They sound lovely!! I can see why you miss them.
I think if you put my fireflies into a hive of thousands, you might knock yourself out though...

I think so too. I enjoy your fireflies very much, but they aren't quite the same.
Does everything that you create have that emotional effect on others? It would be inconvenient.
text;
I don't think I can. It would be too much, too many little lives.
I'm sorry.

Are they named after happy things? Can you explain to me why you like them?
I can expand their lifespan if you tell me more about your attachment to them!!

Very well. I will extend their lifespans for you. I hope you continue to enjoy them!!

For your part, please continue to spread joy, however you can. That would help me out a lot!
