Still apprehensive, he follows her inside, bracing himself for the emotions that are to come. And sure enough there's the bubbly sensation in his chest, one that fills him with a pleasant warmth. His lips twitch, tempted to pull a smile.

But he pulls back. Bites his bottom lip and kills it before it spreads. Reminds himself that this delight is not real, that it's all artificially induced because he's in the god's presence.

The disarming smile and dazzling outfit is fitting for a god called Delight. Danse only wishes he could return her a similar greeting in a genuine manner, but honestly? Feeling this happy only hurts because it dregs out the memories, reminds him of a time when he had all the reasons to smile and laugh and love.]

Thanks for inviting me in. I'm a relative newcomer to this city and I've heard differing opinions on the gods, some of it possibly subject to some bias. So, I'd like to speak with you myself and form my own opinion on the kind of person you are.
